Poker Tournaments 2026: The Events on the Calendar

The 2026 poker calendar is stacked. Here's an overview of the series that pros and serious amateurs are tracking — for context only, not as an invitation to play.

World Series of Poker (WSOP): Held in Las Vegas from late May through mid-July. The headline is the Main Event with a $10,000 buy-in, supported by online bracelet events on regulated US platforms.

European Poker Tour (EPT): The EPT returns to Monte Carlo, Barcelona and Prague in 2026. The Main Event has a €5,300 buy-in, alongside high-roller and mystery-bounty formats.

Triton Poker Series: The premier super-high-roller tour, attracting the highest-stakes players in the world. Stops are planned in Jeju (South Korea) and Monte Carlo, with buy-ins from $25,000 to over $1,000,000.

World Poker Tour (WPT): The WPT continues its global tour with a season finale at the Wynn Las Vegas. It is known for TV-friendly final tables and relatively accessible buy-ins from around $3,500.

Online series: Operators like PokerStars (SCOOP, WCOOP) and GGPoker (WSOP Online, GGMasters) are scheduling their flagship online series. Buy-ins range from micro-stakes to five-figure high-roller events.

Caveat: Tournament dates change. Always check the official organizer pages and the licensing situation in your country before planning anything.
